What started as an accidental eBay purchase of a broken GTX 1080 Ti and way too much spare time during COVID lockdowns has evolved into a specialized service that is now trusted by AI researchers, data scientists, and enterprises worldwide.
While we are still a small family-run shop, I started as just a curious guy inspired by Rossmann's MacBook repair videos and always wanted to have board-level hands-on experience just like him. The Mac repair space had already been well saturated and expensive to start out in, but the passion never left me, and when the opportunity came along to work on GPUs, I didn't let it go by.
I believe AI research and general inference/generation shouldn't be limited to cloud providers. AI is such a wonderful evolution of technology that no longer allows collective human knowledge and concepts to be gate-kept, so why should we gatekeep the models or the hardware? Our friends in the East have already given us world-class open-source models, and we have the hardware to run them. Exploration shouldn't be limited by VRAM. Our 48GB RTX 4090 upgrades remove those barriers, enabling researchers, small businesses, and enthusiasts to work with larger models and datasets that were previously impossible on entry-level hardware.
