These cards are built from harvested, fully-tested RTX 4090 cores from the secondhand market. Observed failure rate is approximately 2%, primarily manifesting as repairable memory channel issues from overheated cards running for long periods of time, primarily coming from VAST rental providers. To mitigate this, we have developed an improved cooling backplate which will be available in our shop at the end of June.
We are happy to finally be able to provide a custom made water block for the 48GB 4090's, available for purchase in our shop starting mid-June!
Improved backplates are also going to be available to improve thermal performance of rear memory modules and provide fan mounting holes for 90x90mm fans. Otherwise the backplate will still be an improvement in PCIe slot stacked configurations even without the fan attached.
Depending on our workload and customer priority, we offer upgrade and production lead times between 5 and 15 business days until the GPUs are tested and shipped.
We offer a standard warranty covering PCB rework soldering defects. More comprehensive warranties can be seen on our warranty page.
We only offer upgrades for NVIDIA GPUs at this time. Our current scope of work is focused on 4090 upgrades to 48GB, 4080 Super to 32GB, and Datacenter SXM4/5 repairs and conversions.
